Clearwater, FL. Salinsky Racing is happy to announce a renewed partnership with Fuse Lenses for the 2017 season. Fuse Lenses is a sunglass lens replacement company located in Clearwater, Florida. They manufacture replacement lenses for some of the most popular sunglass brands. They produce high quality, durable, scratch resistant lenses in a variety of colors and coatings to fit almost any brand of sunglasses.
Salinsky Racing was proud to have Fuse Lenses as their primary partner for the 2016 Pirelli World Challenge season. They started the 2016 season out strong, bringing staff members & promotional models to help cut and giveaway new lenses to fans at the first race in Austin, Texas. Word travelled fast and soon fans and drivers were swarming the booth checking out the latest lenses. Fuse quickly realized that the Pirelli World Challenge fan base brought exactly the consumer they were trying to reach. Their lifestyle brand fit naturally in the motorsports setting. They knew they would need to up their game to keep up with the growing demand at the races. Although they couldn’t have as big of a presence at all of the races, their impact was still felt. Fans and teams alike were constantly asking when the Fuse crew was coming back. At the end of the season they decided to celebrate with a party at the final race at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. They invited all of the drivers & teams to come over to their tent for some free beer and pizza. The DJ was spinning the latest hits while everyone played beer pong & celebrated the success of the season. All in all, the season was a success for both the team and Fuse Lenses.
Driver Jay Salinsky finished 5th in points overall for the 2016 season, an accomplishment to be very proud of after his first full season as a pro driver. Fuse Lenses realized that their partnership with Salinsky Racing and motorsports in general was of great value for their lifestyle brand. With their continued support for 2017, we now have the opportunity to pursue racing in the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge. This will allow for more brand exposure for Fuse Lenses as well as further driver development for Jay Salinsky. We look forward to another successful adventure!
Look for the Fuse Lenses vendor booth at our opening race at Sebring International Raceway for the legendary 12 hours of Sebring. Jay will be joining the Mini JCW Racing team in the Continental Tire SportsCar challenge for a partial season.
